Who we are
Bind was founded in 2024 in Helsinki, Finland. Before Bind, our team spent four years (2020-2024) building Aatos, Finland's most-used consumer online legal service. We learned what makes legal software work: clear language, fast workflows, no jargon.
In 2024, with AI finally mature enough to do real legal work, we shifted full focus to building Bind around it. In 2025 we launched the product for business users and contract teams. Today we serve teams across North America, Europe, and Australia, from in-house legal and sales operations to procurement, consultancies, and recruitment agencies.
The team today brings together lawyers, software engineers, customer support, marketing, and sales. We understand what great legal software needs to be, and we build it in tight relationships with the in-house contract teams who use it every day.
And we stay close, on purpose. We deliberately work with a focused set of clients at a time, so every team we serve gets real attention rather than a seat in a queue. Onboarding, playbook configuration, and the edge cases that always come up are handled directly with the team building the product. We treat client relationships as long-term partnerships, not transactions.
